a part of their “Michigan Hidden Talent” Tour, a statewide tour to educate employers on the benefits – the employers, the employees and the community – of hiring disabled workers.There are an estimated 500,000 working-age Michiganians with disabilities who are not working, even though 43% of them have a college education or degree. Lt. Gov. Calley and Justice Bernstein, along with Brent Mikulski, President of Services to Enhance Potential (STEP), will share stories about companies who found valuable talent when they opened themselves up to the vast pool of potential employees with disabilities.
